Littleton Grist Mill is located in Littleton, NH.
The Littleton Grist Mill produces stone-ground flours in the same way today as when it opened in 1798. All of their flours are made by taking organically grown grain and grinding it between two mill stones. This process crushes the grain without generating excess heat, thus preserving the quality and nutritional value of the flour. Unlike commercial white flour products, LGM flours and mixes still contain the bran, wheat germ, vitamin E and all whole grain nutrients. (The mill is also open to the public free of charge as a working museum.)
