The Basics

Peaches are a type of stone fruit that originated in China. They're characterized by their fuzzy skins and either yellow or white flesh. Peaches with white flesh tend to be very sweet, whereas those with yellow flesh tend to be slightly more acidic. Depending on whether or not the flesh sticks to the pit, peaches are divided into "clingstones" and "freestones." (Read more about peaches on Wikipedia.)

Storage Tips

In general, the peaches we deliver should be stored in the refrigerator and left out on the counter anywhere from a few hours to a day before being used.

Nutrition
