The Basics

A pluot is a plum and apricot hybrid fruit that was created by Floyd Zaiger in the late 20th century. Contrary to the"aprium", the pluot has mostly plum heritage, making its appearance and taste very similar to a plum. (Read more about pluots at Fruits & Veggies More Matters.)
